The Fascinating Journey of Chocolate

Ever wondered where chocolate comes from? The journey from cocoa bean to chocolate bar is packed with science, history, and craftsmanship.

 

Step 1: Cocoa Harvesting – Farmers hand-pick ripe cocoa pods from trees in tropical climates.

Step 2: Fermentation & Drying – The beans ferment to develop their rich flavour, then dry under the sun.

Step 3: Roasting & Grinding – Roasting brings out the deep chocolatey taste before the beans are ground into cocoa mass.

Step 4: Refining & Conching – The chocolate is smoothed and blended with sugar and milk to develop its texture.

Step 5: Tempering & Moulding – The chocolate is carefully heated and cooled to achieve a perfect glossy finish.

Step 6: Ready to Enjoy! – After cooling, the chocolate is packaged and sent out for the world to enjoy!
